MG1-3500 Mini Spec

From new installations to existing equipment, our MG1-3500 surface treatment delivers superior corrosion protection, improves energy efficiency, healthier indoor air quality, reduces maintenance costs and extends equipment life.

HVAC/R Protective Surface Treatments

  1. Surface Treatment shall be ambient air temperature cured, inorganic film structures.
  2. Surface Treatment shall adhere to substrates by direct atom-to-atom covalent bonding, as well as London Force Method.
  3. Surface Treatment shall produce a dry film thickness no greater than 8 microns. 25.4 Microns in 1 Mil
  4. Surface Treatment shall not act as an insulating barrier to the substrate, which would inhibit or degrade heat transfer coefficients or increase energy consumption of the condenser.
  5. Surface Treatment shall have passed ASTM G-21, with a zero (0) microbial spore growth development rating.
  6. Surface Treatment shall meet or exceed 25,000 hours of corrosion protection using ASTM B-117 testing protocols.
  7. Surface Treatment must have a minimum hardness of 9H.
  8. Surface treatment shall provide the following benefits; Ease of cleaning, documented energy savings and significant reduction in NOX and extend operating life of HVAC/R asset.
  9. Low absorptivity – surface does not absorb as much exterior heat.
  10. High Emissivity – surface releases heat faster, interior stays cooler.

Notes:

  1. All Standard ASTM tests must have been conducted by an accredited, third party independent laboratory providing verifiable test results.
  2. All documented energy savings and significant reduction in NOX must have been provided by independent third parties: Energy consulting companies, Public utility companies and/or the EPA.
